TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SELLING - GUITAR AUCTION HOUSE  (GAH)

Process

Submissions are now welcome for our auction which will be held on Saturday 9th March 2019 ( viewing day Friday 8th March 2019)  at Franklin’s Garden - Saints Rugby Ground Northampton NN5 5BG. In addition the sale catalogue with be avaiable to veiw on line. 

How do I go about selling my instrument at the auction?

Email the Guitar Auction House at info@guitar-auctions.com with details of your item, make, model, year and country of manufacture if known. Please include front and rear photographs of your instrument etc.

Appraisals ( Free of Charge)

Once we have received your information, we will contact you once again in a timely manner to give you an estimated price band.

Should you wish to proceed, we will ask you to get the instrument etc to us three weeks prior to the auction in order that we can do the necessary online promotional work and include the item in the appropriate auction catalogue.

Administration

An administration charge of £5.00 per lot sold, which covers photographs, online promotion and inclusion in the auction catalogue.

Commission 10% commission will be charged on individual lots sold in the auction.

Reserves

All lots are put up for sale without a reserve unless specific written advice is received from the seller 24 hours prior to the auction. When a seller confirms that a reserve price is required, a charge of £30 will be payable. All reserve prices must be reasonable for the particular lot. Reserve prices must be authorised by GAH / auctioneer.

Insurance

All your goods stored by the Guitar Auction House will be insured at the agreed lower estimated price as set out in the sale catalogue .

Post sale payments / settlements

Payments due will be made within 15 working days after the sale on the basis that the purchaser has paid for the lot in full. The Guitar Auction House will not be responsible for a default purchase.

All charges will be subject to VAT where applicable.
